This month, RebelDot received the EcoVadis Gold medal, with an overall score of 83/100. That places us in the top 2% of companies assessed in our industry, above the threshold for Gold (top 5%) and approaching Platinum (top 1%).
More than the score itself, this reflects the steady, deliberate work we've put in since our first assessment two years ago. It's a recognition of progress, but also an encouragement to keep going.
Our Journey with EcoVadis
When we started our first assessment in December 2023, the objective was to establish a clear baseline, an honest picture of where we stood, and use it as a starting point for improvement.
From there, the work focused on steady progress, day by day, system by system, process by process, across all areas evaluated by EcoVadis.
The evolution of our scores shows how that approach played out over time:
- Dec 2023: 59/100
- Mar 2025: 73/100
- Dec 2025: 83/100 → Gold
What changed since we started was not just the score, but how the company manages, applies, and reviews its practices across environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.
Progress Since Our Last Assessment
Compared to the previous EcoVadis assessment, the latest results show clear changes across all four areas:
- Environment: +14 points (76 → 90)
- Labor & Human Rights: +9 points (73 → 82)
- Ethics: +9 points (73 → 82)
- Sustainable Procurement: +12 points (66 → 78)
Knowing the work behind these numbers, it's encouraging to see this progress reflected so clearly in the results.

What Made the Difference
This result mirrors the way we work as a team today.
Over the past two years, we focused on:
- Clarifying policies and expectations across the organization,
- Aligning day-to-day actions with those expectations,
- Strengthening governance and accountability,
- Improving how progress is measured and reported.
Our goal was to build ways of working that remain effective as the company grows, rather than relying on ad-hoc solutions or individual effort.
This approach reflects something we've believed since the beginning: that building a company we're proud of means doing things properly, even when no one is checking.
What Comes Next
This achievement is a milestone for us, but it also carries meaning for the people we work with. We're not treating it as a finish line because sustainability is less about arriving somewhere and more about how we choose to work every day. The goal is to keep what's working, keep building on what we've learned, and stay honest about the gaps that remain.
When we work with clients who prioritize sustainability, we want to meet them where they are. Having an EcoVadis Gold rating means we're not starting that conversation from scratch, we're already aligned with the standards they care about.
As RebelDot continues to grow, the focus remains on keeping existing measures relevant and effective, strengthening reporting and verification, and continuing to improve areas such as sustainable procurement, where consistency and depth can still be developed.
A personal note
Looking back over the past few years, the EcoVadis framework played an important role in shaping how we act as an organization. In some areas, we started almost from scratch. In others, the work was already happening, but it needed structure and clearer documentation.
What mattered most was what we learned along the way. The process forces clarity: it helped us understand where we needed to improve, where gaps existed, and where we were already stronger than we thought. It also gave us the confidence to push further, knowing that progress would be visible over time.
It hasn’t been a simple path. At times it was complex, sometimes unclear, and often demanding. But each cycle made things sharper. We kept moving forward, trusting that if the work was done properly, the results would follow.
And that belief continues to guide how we work today.
