As part of our sustainability efforts, we joined the „Natura Îți Mulțumește” Association in Mărișel to support local reforestation in the Apuseni Mountains. Together with rebels, friends, and families, we planted 4,000 trees, contributing to biodiversity, healthier ecosystems, and a greener future for the area.

For the International Women's Dya, we hosted a Smart Wardrobe workshop led by Ciprian Sipos, bringing colleagues together in our Cluj office and online. The session explored how small, everyday choices can support more responsible consumption, from making better use of the clothes we already own to rethinking what we add to our wardrobes.

We went to Mărișel, Cluj, for our annual tree-planting initiative. With the support of “Natura Îți Mulțumește” Association, we set out to plant 2,500 trees, but ended up planting 3,400, a result that perfectly captured the rebel spirit behind the effort.

In 2025, we took a significant step forward by committing to Science-Based Targets, aligning our climate goals with the latest climate science. This commitment puts RebelDot among the first tech companies in Romania to take this step, setting clear, measurable targets for Scope 1 and 2, to reduce our environmental footprint in line with global climate objectives.

We published our 3rd sustainability report, aligned with the VSME standard ,marking the next chapter in how we approach sustainability at RebelDot. This framework brings more structure, transparency, and accountability to our efforts, offering a clear picture of where we stand today and how we plan to improve in the years ahead.

RebelDot earned EcoVadis Gold in December 2025, ranking in the top 2% of assessed companies with a score of 83/100. This milestone reflects steady progress over two years and for clients with sustainability requirements, it means we're already aligned with the standards that matter.

Collaborating with Spherik Accelerator we supported an event focused on reducing food waste while being mindful of resources. The Climathon was inclusive and welcoming for participants of all ages, from 6 months to 61 years.

We teamed up with CERT and Accesa for a massive tree-planting effort near Deleni, Cluj. The goal? Plant 10,000 trees to help stabilize an area at risk of landslides.

This 71-page report offers a transparent view of our progress, challenges, and learnings in areas that align with our mission. With each step forward, we’re reinforcing our dedication to creating a more sustainable future.

We finished 2023 by becoming a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, underscoring our commitment to global sustainability standards and aligning our operations with universal principles on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

In November 2023 we achieved the Silver Medal in the EcoVadis Assessment, ranking us in the top 25% of companies assessed by EcoVadis. We also became a member of Cluj-Napoca Net Zero Cities Coalition.

Hosting an ESG event at our office, showcasing our dedication to Environmental, Social, and Governance principles through engaging discussions and initiatives, cementing our mission to become sustainability leaders in our community.

In July 2023 we received the ISO 14001 certification, validating our adherence to international environmental management standards and reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement.

In March 2023 we launched our first Sustainability Report and started measuring and tracking our greenhouse gas emissions with Plan A.

In January 2023, we were certified as one of the Best Places to Work in Romania, recognizing our exceptional workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
