Meet Emanuela Petricele | Delivery Director at RebelDot, working with the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls Tech Team

Ema leads the collaboration with Visa Cash App Racing Bulls from RebelDot’s side. As Delivery Director, her focus is on strategy, structure, and strengthening long-term outcomes. Together with the team at VCARB, she will look at opportunities to improve the day-to-day progress. Her role involves aligning people, goals, and impact.

From Curiosity to Clarity

“I am working with our stakeholders towards unveiling a future roadmap and strengthening the collaboration by identifying the most impactful project areas and the most suitable colleagues to join the team.”

She joined the partnership early on and has remained close to its strategic evolution ever since. Her contribution sits at the intersection of delivery support, relationship-building, and long-term vision for digital transformation.

Precision, Up Close

Her first visit to the VCARB facility shifted everything.

“The fine details of what the engineers were working on. Never seen something like that. And then, the meaning of performance struck me.”

What truly stayed with her was hearing the stakeholder describe what happens behind the scenes.

“The complexity of what is happening in the background, the way these people breathe performance and strive for precision and perfection.”

That moment redefined the way she saw her own role and what it means to contribute to something this ambitious.

A Rhythm of Focus and Flow

Ema’s mornings begin early and with structure.

“Waking up at 6.45, prepare breakfast and pack lunch, tidy up the kitchen, take the dog out, at the gym by 8, then at work, checking my calendar in advance and triaging the activities for the day, but also for the upcoming week. Check the latest messages, extract action points, and start full speed.”

And if the day doesn’t include gym time, it starts at the same time, 8:00.

The pace? She compares it best with something outside the office.

“Have you tried dancing Salsa for 2 hours? That is the rhythm.”

How She Works With and For People

When asked how she explains her role to people outside the field, Ema smiles.

“This is a good question. Sometimes I limit the answer to project management. Sometimes I explain that I build client relationships and act as support for the project teams I work with so that they can deliver according to client needs. Sometimes I add that I am involved in different internal initiatives which have the purpose of improving the way we work.”

She also supports Mihaela Dit, RebelDot’s Delivery Manager, and stays closely involved in building the kind of relationship with VCARB that enables strategic alignment and trust.

Staying Grounded

A packed day needs moments of pause.

“Leave the desk, sit somewhere else, breathe in, breathe out, stay still. Aim for balance even for a few moments, as it helps quiet the storm in my mind.”

When time allows, she finds peace walking around the lake at Iulius Park. For long evenings in front of the screen, her essentials are simple:

If things are really complicated, I might fix myself a sandwich and eat it while I work. It helps me focus, even if it’s not healthy to eat during you do something else.”

Circuit Match

If she were to pick a circuit that best reflects her way of working, it would be Monaco.

“Sometimes unpredictable, difficult, needs creativity and calmness.”

First-Day Advice

“My advice would be: look at the bigger picture, but never lose sight of the details. These are the ones that matter to be the best.”

What began as a project has become something more. For Ema, being surrounded by top-tier engineering, discipline, and performance has become a source of motivation. Being part of the project in partnership with VCARB, has shaped her standard and raised it thanks to the relentless pursuit of excellence.

Rebels at Speed continues. Stay tuned for the next story from the team behind the tech.
